Pryor’s Place | Sid & Marty Krofft


Richard Pryor starred in this award-winning kids TV Series depicting life lessons from his childhood. He invited an amazing cavalcade of his friends to guest star in his fantastic neighborhood.

Marty Krofft approached CBS with the idea of Richard Pryor doing a children’s show. They said, “If you can get him we’ll give you the show!”

Later, at a press conference, Richard Pryor was asked why he agreed to do the show, and Richard said, “It’s easier to say “yes” to Marty Krofft than it is to say ‘no.’”
