Description
William J. Kay is head of Business Affairs for Sid & Marty Krofft Pictures. He is responsible for & assists in strategic long term planning of intellectual property rights exploitation for film, television, and internet. Mr. Kay works with entertainment contracts drafting, negotiating, and interpretation, for television licensing, DVD, digital distribution, and licensing of merchandising.
Mr. Kay earned his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles and is a member of the State Bar of California. William received his bachelors in Political Science from the University of CA, Los Angeles with a minor in Geography.
William worked at the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA). Some of his duties at AFTRA included staff union representation, collective bargaining contract negotiations, filing of grievance and procedures under the CBA, which included arbitration.
